THE GLOBALINK NETWORK ANNOUNCES IT’S WORLDWIDE MEMBERSHIP MEETING, OCTOBER 8-11, IN BANGKOK

September 12, 2003

Phoenix, AZ, USA—The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand , will be the venue for the upcoming Globalink Worldwide Membership meeting scheduled for October 8 to October 11.  The world famous Oriental Hotel has been voted the best hotel in the world two years running and Globalink Founder and President, Bill Siemens, indicates that this is consistent with Globalink’s goals.

The meeting will attended by members from over forty countries, representing over seventy member locations around the Globe.  Also in attendance will the thirty five Founding Globalink Members.  These members are committed to fully supporting other Globalink members and to the success of the network.  While not yet a full year old, this dynamic group accounts for over forty million dollars in combined worldwide airfreight sales, and ninety-six million dollars in combined worldwide ocean freight turnover.  For more information on the Globalink Network, the website is www.globalinknetwork.com.

The keynote address for the meeting will be delivered by Henry Gonzalez, LL.M., of the well known international law firm of Rodriquez, O’Donnell, Ross, Furest, Gonzalez & Williams, P.C.  With offices in Washington D.C., Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles and New York, the firm represents both foreign and domestic clients before governmental and international agencies that regulate our international business activities.

Mr. Gonzalez’s credentials, his tenure with the Federal Maritime Commission, and his focus on International Transportation, Admiralty and Maritime Law, combine to provide a high degree of insight into this very timely topic, “Global Security Initiatives and other Regulatory Issues”.  With the United States Federal Government issuing fines and penalties in excess of several million dollars against certain NVOCC’s, some for Asia, this presentation will certainly provide significant insights for the Globalink membership.  For more information on Mr. Gonzalez, LL.M. or his firm please go to www.rorfrw.com

The agenda for the meeting is a combination of general session meetings and presentations with half of the time reserved for networking among members.  Globalink developed it’s own scheduling software program so that members will be able to schedule meetings with key partners in advance of the meeting. “We’ve worked very hard to make this meeting a first class event that will not only provide each member with value, but will be fun as well”, states Globalink’s President, Bill Siemens.
