THE GLOBALINK NETWORK CONTINUES TO EXPAND

Phoenix, AZ, April 21, 2003

The Globalink Network, an independent, non exclusive forwarding network reports that at the end of its first ninety days, since its launch in January, some twenty companies have become members or are in the process of becoming members.  There is certainly a sense of momentum as a number of additional companies have indicated their desire to become a part of the network.  Many of the Globalink’s Asian members have generated leads and routing orders for Europe and the United States and consequently Globalink’s recruiting efforts are shifting to target these areas.

In fact, expansion has been so dramatic, that Globalink has had to close off new member applications for Shanghai, China, because existing membership has already filled the market quota.  Globalink permits a minimum of two members and up to a maximum of four members per market gateway location.

This expansion is particularly noteworthy given the length of time Globalink invests in the selection and approval process.  All candidates for the network must be at least four years in business, have appropriate capitalization, and must submit three references.  These references are checked, as well as others, and the membership also has a chance to comment on applications before they are approved. The recruiting process has been very selective and a number of companies have been turned down.

The President of Globalink, Bill Siemens, stated, “We could certainly put up a lot more numbers of members if we weren’t being so selective, but we’re sticking to our commitment to be the best.  Many prospects want to see lots of members, but I think the opportunity lies with joining a quality organization at the beginning, and help build it.  The relationships among the members that come out of this process are far more valuable, then coming late to the party and looking for a date.”

Globalink is committed to working with its members to increase business as well as market awareness.  Given the current state of the world economy and the challenges at the moment, joining a worldwide network of like minded companies makes more sense now than ever before.

A number of marketing and technological support programs offered to membership by Globalink can be viewed on its website; www.globalinknetwork.comGlobalink Network’s tag line, “Linking opportunity with Success”, has found a warm reception among the forwarding community.
